This club was formed and created because the athletic department needed a funding source outside the State system. Pete Hupperten took on the challenge from the Athletic Director at that time hence the club was born. We have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for athletics through the sale of split the pot tickets and other activities. Perhaps athletics never needed our assistance more than today so we need more numbers. Not an easy task. I have never been prouder of my membership in BBALC than at the AOY banquet this past Friday night. Each of you can help us with ideas in how we can help UAA get more people in the seats at all events more particularly hockey. Louis is an Anchorage native, graduate of Bowling Green. He played professional hockey for 7 years plus has about 9 years of hockey coaching experience at the professional and college level.
